Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

1. Who we are

Onside Insights Limited is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this privacy policy.

Onside Insights Limited
Company number: 17316678
151 The Rock
Bury

United Kingdom

Email: james@onsideinsights.co.uk

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Your first name and email address.

  • Your answers to the CLEAR Pressure Profile.

  • Your resulting scores and pressure profile.

  • Any optional written response you provide.

  • The area you indicate you are interested in exploring.

  • Your consent and communication preferences.

  • Information you provide when contacting us.

  • Limited technical information generated when you use our website or assessment, such as browser, device and usage information.

Please do not include confidential, highly sensitive or special-category personal information in any optional written response.

3. How we use your information

We may use your information to:

  • Deliver and display your CLEAR Pressure Profile.

  • Email you a link to revisit your personalised results.

  • Provide the CLEAR follow-up series and relevant updates when you have consented to receive them.

  • Understand interest in keynotes, workshops, team applications, Decision Lab trials and ongoing research.

  • Respond to enquiries and requests.

  • Analyse and improve the CLEAR framework, assessment and associated services.

  • Produce anonymised or aggregated research findings.

  • Maintain the security and effective operation of our website and assessment.

  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We will not publish an identifiable response or attribute comments to you without your separate permission.

4. Our lawful bases

We rely on:

  • Legitimate interests to provide the assessment, deliver results, improve CLEAR, conduct proportionate research and respond to enquiries.

  • Consent to send the CLEAR follow-up series and occasional relevant marketing updates.

  • Legal obligation where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.

You may withdraw your marketing consent at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email or contacting james@onsideinsights.co.uk.

Withdrawing consent will not affect processing that took place before it was withdrawn.

5. Automated scoring

The CLEAR Pressure Profile automatically calculates scores from your answers and identifies the highest-scoring pressure category.

This provides reflective guidance only. It does not make decisions about you and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Research use

Assessment responses may be analysed to understand patterns in how people perceive and experience decision pressure and to strengthen the CLEAR framework.

Where findings are shared externally, they will be anonymised or aggregated so that individuals are not identifiable unless separate permission has been obtained.

7. Who we share information with

We use trusted service providers to operate our website, assessment and communications. These currently include:

  • ScoreApp, which hosts the CLEAR Pressure Profile, calculates results and processes assessment responses.

  • Wix, which hosts the Onside Insights website.

  • Google Workspace, which supports our business email and document administration.

  • Professional advisers or authorities where disclosure is legally required.

These providers process information only for the relevant service and are required to protect it appropriately. We do not sell personal information.

If we later introduce an email-marketing platform to deliver the CLEAR follow-up series, this policy will be updated where necessary.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.

Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data-protection law, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.

9. How long we retain information

We normally retain identifiable CLEAR assessment and enquiry information for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us.

Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or after an appropriate period of inactivity. We may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure that we respect an opt-out.

Anonymised or aggregated research data that can no longer identify an individual may be retained indefinitely.

Information may be retained longer where required for legal, regulatory or dispute-resolution purposes.

10. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for access to your personal information.

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.

  • Ask us to erase your information.

  • Restrict how we use your information.

  • Object to particular uses of your information.

  • Receive certain information in a portable format.

  • Withdraw consent at any time.

You have an absolute right to object to your information being used for direct marketing.

To exercise a right, contact james@onsideinsights.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern so that we have an opportunity to address it.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office:

Website: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
Telephone: 0303 123 1113

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as CLEAR develops, our service providers change or legal requirements evolve. The latest version and revision date will be published on this page.
